- Our transloading services are located in 3 facilities in Ohio. These are rail-serviced facilities from the Akron/Barberton Cluster and the Wheeling Lake Erie Railroad. Interchange service with the CSXT, NS and CN allows our customers to source through a variety of rail options and affordable international service.
- Designed for fast and direct entry, the transloading facilities are ideally located within a 500-mile radius of nearly half of the nation’s manufacturing base. A network of interstate highways allows for same-day or next-day delivery.
- The Barberton complex provides the capacity to transload simultaneously from different types of rail cars. Two rail spurs are used for solid materials including polymers, sodium, sulfate, salt and sand. One spur offers a conveyor system. Two spurs are used for transloading liquid materials including petroleum, liquid plastics, linseed oil, methanol and zinc chloride. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art steam heating system that allows for easier transloading.
